September’s second sunday
 The Castelló
d’Empúries medieval market, is a market hosted in a middle-age town,
Castelló d'Empuries. It is held next to the cathedral and in all the
historic center of the town. One of the most attractive features is that
all sales are made in the original middle-ages coins, which can be bought
in exchange bureaus in the market.
 The
market is the most important act in the “Festival Terra de Trobadors” (Trobadour’s
Land Festival), which is held days before with many acts around the middle
ages.

13th October
 This
Horse Fair is a traditional fair held in Espinavell. This hamlet, inside
the village of Molló, holds during these days, the St Eduard’s day.
Livestock professionals go to the fair to buy or
sell horses. There is also a small market with handcrafted goods and
mountain products
The most spectacular moment is when the horses
arrive from the mountain and walk across the river to arrive in the fields
where the fair is held.

Cherry fair in Llers
Date: second weekend in June
The Llers fair is a handcrafted goods fair where the most important is the
presence of the local cherry sales.
During these days also there are Sardanas dancing and different activities.
Honey fair in Crespià
Date: last weekend in February
 The
Honey fair is a handcrafted goods fair where you can buy different sorts
of honeys made by the local union, and also nuts grown in the nearby areas.
Its held during 2 days, but the most important day is Sunday. You can also
buy other sorts of handcrafted items and dance Sardana.

Spring Market Fair in Figueres
3rd May
During the Santa Creu Day in
Figueres (local holiday), there is a Fair in the “Plaça del Sol”, where
you can buy all sorts of clothes, shoes and other complements, for the
spring – summer season.
Winter Market Fair in Figueres
8th December
Near Christmas, the 8th
December, bank holiday, the Market Fair is held again in “Plaça del Sol”,
this time specialized in products for Christmas, presents, clothes and
winter complements.
1st May fair in Olot
1st May
The 1st May fair in Olot is
one of the biggest in the area, with many different products and
activities held during all the day. The most important event is the market,
held in the same place where the local monday market is held. There are
many shops with different items.
